my blades keep falling out
It ABSOLUTELY ! Amazes ! Me with Some of these you Tube Websites with Lathes ! How they just use ! POWER FEED ! l know if l ! Did that ! The TAP ! WOULD BUST ! IN AN INSTANT !!!
Great demo. Thank you! Glad to see that you're all in one piece after your mishap.
thanks
Hey i watch your twin brothers wood working channel lol great video! Thanks
I had a difficult time with my Rockwell Jawhorse. It looks simple in this video, but I could not get the jaw horse to release the work. Yes, I had it unlocked. Yes, I pushed on the pedal, it would not let go.
Went in a hardware shop about 15 years ago and seen a gearwrench set of sockets on sale for $20 aud. I like when I have a protruding bolt, i can use the grearwrench set and makes time for me. It was definitely the best $20 I ever spent in 53 years. Be buying this tap now die set today!

Sir by chance do you know how to replace the battery
Nice
Just bought one of these 6538's never used like new with case for $43.72 at auction including fees and tax. Looks like someone bought it and tried it out and was too much for them. It is a bit heavier than my smaller Milwaukee sawzall. I also have a Dewalt corded and two Ryobi 18v reciprocating saws. A guy can never have too many toys [tools].
Too bad they don't make these anymore. Thats the trouble with GearWrench. Here today, gone tomorrow, yet they advertise LIFE TIME WARRANTY. thats a joke.
Thanks for sharing this information. 👍😊
Yes, we must justify why we have our tools by using them every chance we get! Thanks for sharing this video.
What happen to snapped heli coil tip?let it stay inside the hole?
One key step to chafing the blade on this is releasing the tension switch. It’s the black lever next to the M12 symbol.

I just bought one of these today at a pawn shop for $100 I absolutely love it
Knipex makes this look just like the rubbish they are.. soft teeth that dont hold up to time at all .
Amen to it all
Got tip about keeping the shims with the bag. Another idea would be to measure the total shim size with a calliper so you can re make it if you need to.
DANG!
God bless America
what do you call that device with handles that you put the die into; it has set screws? I have the dies but nothing to mount them in.
Hi I just purchased a Jet BD 920 N lathe I think mine is the older model of yours
you know, you could have provided a link to the wrench's online resellers. just saying.
This was a VERY helpful and informative video. Thank you.
This is why I love RUclips. Yea bing old trade secrets
I recently bought the five inch model. One thing I am very displeased with is that the fixed jaw does not protrude out far enough. You cannot clamp a log item that extends below the work bench surface. If I had noticed this before installation, I would have returned it.
Unless the wheel is super heavy, it is much easier to hang the wheel on your finger.
👍💯
Have one an i am very happy with it.
nice
what a load of shit
As a friend up in the Great White North once said. A shill vid is a shill vid is a shill vid.
Great vid. Was first hit on google and now I know what's up!

I've been trying to find a tap and die and some WD40
Thanks. My dad just died, he left us all the tools. His buddy came over the other day and tried to buy this huge rethreading kit and I told him no, I might need that. Well, a month later, here I am today, definitely needing that lol and so glad dad left amazing tools for me. Thanks for this video, it taught me a lot. Time to go fix what I messed up now.
<3
Who knew Jesse Ventura was into metal working.
Santa just delivered it, so I guess I'll have to wait to use it!
Is it ok to pass over the threads multiple times without causing the bolts to become loose from removing too much material?
honestly it works as a great on wood nice shine and keeps in from truning grey ... found out by accident lol
How much?
Exactly what type of tap is needed for 1 1/2" cast iron pipe ?? Some of the threads were damaged while removing the nipple from the drain. Your experience is appreciated.
Great info, it helps me out a lot. Thanks.
Problem with this sockets is no one makes an organizer (socket rail) for them. The blow molded cases are only useful for marketing displays.
Thanks for the video. Great advice. One of these wheels exploded on a guy in our shop. Luckily he was wearing an ANSI rate face shield plus safety glasses underneath. Some of the shards from the wheel went right through the face shield and actually got lodged in his safety glasses. Without both layers of protection he probably would be blind. Even so, he was lucky that he wasnt seriously injuried. What do you value more: a few moments of your time or your eyes, fingers, or even life? Complacency costs lives. Always check your equipment before using.
Great video. Short, simple, and to the point. Just what I needed.
Good that you put this up, more near-misses like this shouldn't be edited out.
